Account Executive
Reports To Sales Manager
Position Summary

The core objective for an Account Executive is to generate compatible leads and convert leads into customers. A creative and highly self-motivated individual is sought to effectively fill this role. The position will require research of businesses in an assigned market to pinpoint leads which are candidates for services offered by Kloud 7. Phone conferences and in person meetings with leads will drive customer-business relationships and convey the concepts of the technology solution to an applicable audience. Sales engineers will supplement the Account Executive role to bridge the gap in technical discussions.

Roles and responsibilities

Lead Generation: 

    • Research and develop leads in new and existing markets
    • Converting leads into customers (cold calling – customer visits)

Networking:

    • Expos
    • Social Networking Events
    • Business Networking Events
    • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners
    • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships
    • Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience

Product Demonstrations:

    • Provide technical product demonstrations
    • Presenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to prospective clients

 Sales Process Management:

    • Routine planning, reporting and documentation of sales outreach activities
    • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
    • Developing sales strategies to attain predetermined goals and quotas
    • Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position
    • Staying current on company offerings and industry trends
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales or relevant field
  • Minimum of three years of work experience in business to business sales. Telecommunication or technology related sales experience is preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in word processor software and systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Proficient with popular CRM platforms
  • Must work well within a team environment
  • Ability to present ideas in varying levels of technical language
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Highly self-motivated and goal oriented

Work Conditions
